We Ditto That
About Studio Ditto
Have you ever met someone and just thought, ditto!? That moment sparked the beginnings of Studio Ditto, born from a shared passion for art, music, design and fashion. What started as a creative connection between two jewellery designers grew into a brand exploring new possibilities for sustainable accessories.
Today, Studio Ditto continues that spirit of creative experimentation, designing accessories that combine practicality with distinctive form, considered details and a playful use of colour. It sits alongside, it's sister brand DeeLyn Design.
Frustrated by the greenwashing that makes it difficult to know which products are genuinely more sustainable, Ditto was built around a different approach: making thoughtful use of waste materials, sourcing quality recycled materials wherever possible, and considering what happens to a product at the end of its life.
There’s always more to do, but the aim remains the same: to create practical, considered accessories that are made to be used, enjoyed and kept.
Sustainability + Materials
We’re always honest about the materials we use and where they come from. We look for better ways to work, choosing materials with care and making the most of what’s already available.
For our bags, we source reclaimed upholstery fabrics and end-of-line materials from interior designers, upholsterers and manufacturers. Each is selected for its quality, durability and character, so many bags are one-of-a-kind or produced in limited runs. For smaller bags and linings, we repurpose discarded festival tents, curtain offcuts and fabric blinds. Some of our straps are made from climbing ropes retired from indoor climbing centres, giving them a new purpose beyond the wall.
Our jewellery explores the potential of another unexpected material: linoleum flooring. Made using linoleum samples, the pieces transform a material typically found underfoot into striking, wearable forms. Linoleum is made largely from natural, renewable ingredients, including linseed oil, cork dust and wood flour, making it an intriguing alternative to conventional jewellery materials.
Methods + Limited Availability
As an experienced designer-maker, I believe in buying less, buying better. That’s why Studio Ditto’s bags and jewellery explore convertibility and customisation — designed to adapt to your life, not the other way around. Products are made by hand in Liverpool, either by me or in collaboration with a trusted local two-person atelier, with attention to construction, detail and how each piece works in everyday life.
Our products are released in small drops or limited-run collections. Reclaimed and surplus materials mean that many pieces are one-of-a-kind or available in limited quantities. You can make your bag your own by choosing your strap and logo colours, or request custom colours for selected jewellery designs. The result is something that feels personal, rather than dictated by passing trends.
We release products in small drops, and once a particular combination is gone, it may not return. Our materials and production runs are limited, so each release brings something new. Members get first access to each launch. Sign up to the DeeLuxe email list run by DeeLyn Design to hear about new releases and get early access.
